Anna Tómasdóttir joined VÍK Law Firm in 2011. She graduated with a Mag. jur. degree from the University of Iceland in spring 2011. Anna studied EU Intellectual Property Law as an exchange student at Stockholm University in 2010. Anna graduated with a B.A. Degree in Law from the University of Iceland in 2009.

Alongside her studies, Anna worked at LazyTown Entertainment in various departments, including the finance department and brand department, but since 2006 in the legal department. After finishing her studies in 2011 Anna was associate counsel at LazyTown and an associate at VÍK Law Firm. Mid-year 2012 she took on a full-time job as an associate at VÍK Law Firm. 

Main practice areas: 

Anna‘s main areas of practice are within the entertainment industry and innovation, with her main focus on intellectual property law and IT law.

Such services include negotiating and drafting of contracts and legal advise in connection with film and television production, record and publishing agreements, talent agreements, licensing agreements, design, software development and distribution, gaming, as well as other agreements in this field. Anna provides advice and services regarding trademarks and registration thereof, locally and internationally. She has also been engaged in copyright infringement cases and dispute resolution.
